Course Overview

The Behavioral Science and Psychiatry Course provides an introduction to psychiatric disorders across the age spectrum, an introduction to treatment methods in psychiatry, information about the basic behavioral science underlying the practice of psychiatry.  Teaching methods include lectures, small groups, and a 5-week clinical interviewing course focused on introducing students to fundamental clinical communication skills.
