Welcome to Orientation 2009 at RWJMS!

Orientation is less a week away!  See below for information about Orientation Week as well as a visual dress code guide.

Orientation Schedule, August 3-7, 2009

Note: All daytime events during Orientation Week are mandatory.  There will also be Night Events during each night of Orientation Week which are extremely fun (but not required).

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

• Mandatory Daytime Activities: 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Dress Code: Business Casual
• Night Event: 9 PM - Late

Tuesday, August 4th

• Mandatory Daytime Activities: 8:30 AM - 6 PM
  • Dress Code: Casual, dress appropriately for CPR Training and outdoor activities
• Night Event: 6 PM - 9 PM

Wednesday, August 5th

• Mandatory Daytime Activities: 9 AM - 4 PM
  • Dress Code: Business Casual
• Night Event: 10 PM - Late

Thursday, August 6th

• Mandatory Daytime Activities: 8:45 AM - 4 PM
  • Dress Code: Business Casual
• Night Event: 7:30 PM - 11 PM

Friday, August 7th, 2009

• Mandatory Daytime Activities: 8:45 AM - 5 PM
  • Dress Code: Professional, No Suit Jackets
• Night Event: 9 PM - Late

Saturday, August 8th, 2009 (Dress Code: Casual)

• HIPHOP Community Service Volunteer Day: 8:30 AM - 1 PM
• RWJMS Association of Family and Friends BBQ: 1 PM - 4 PM

To Do List:

• Read all letters and complete all required forms that were mailed or emailed to you, including the AAMC Matriculating Students Questionnaire.  See the Forms and Mailings page if you have misplaced any of these documents.
• Make sure all required financial aid forms have been submitted to the Financial Aid Office.

• Find housing and/or roommates.  Check the Housing page frequently for updates to our Housing Databases, the Roommate Finder, and the Student Essentials Classified Ads.
• Please fill out the White Coat Ceremony Form online.  This form was due June 12th, but we are still accepting late submissions.  Even if you were fitted with a white coat at one of our events, you must fill out this form as well.  Refer to the White Coat Ceremony page for more information, including how to choose the correct white coat size.
• Show some RWJMS Pride!  Order a Red Pak from the Association of Family and Friends; Click Here to download the PDF of the order form.
