Orientation Recap/Careers in Medicine - Residency Planning is a 4 Year Process - Class of 2013 -Mandatory

At this meeting we will recap the important highlights and resources discussed during Orientation. Also, we will introduce students to the AAMC's Careers in Medicine Program (CiM), a career planning program to assist you in choosing a medical specialty and selecting and applying to a residency program.
USMLE Registration Info Meeting - Class of 2012

At this meeting students will receive information on preparing, registering and taking the USMLE.
Careers in Medicine - Overview of the Clinical Years - Class of 2012 - Mandatory
October 13, 2009
WLH, 2:00 - 3:30 pm
At this meeting we will review Phase I & Phase II of the AAMC CiM career planning program in relation to preparing for 3rd Year.

At this meeting students will meet previous participants in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute - National Institute of Health (HHMI - NIH) Research Scholars Program (Cloisters) and Research Training Fellowships as well as Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, Fogarty International Fellowship, and NIH Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP). Students will be able to compare and contrast these research opportunities, which may be done after completion of their 2nd or 3rd year.
Summer Experiences Info Meeting - Class of 2013

At this meeting we will discuss the various experiences available to RWJMS students during the summer between first and second year.
Elective Meeting - Class of 2011 - Mandatory
December 7, 2009
WLH, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
At this meeting students will receive an overview of the 4th Year and discuss scheduling process for 4th Year and how to plan electives. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer forum with 4th Year medical students.
