MD/PhD Required Courses

In addition to the courses required for the MD degree, candidates for the combined MD/PhD are required to take the following graduate courses. Credit for these courses are applied to the PhD degree requirements.

• IDST-5000: Ethical Scientific Conduct (1 credit) - Spring M1
• MICR-6060: Topics in Translation of Research to Medicine (1 credit) - Fall M1

Final PhD course requirements are determined by the Institution and Graduate Program that confer the PhD.
