Directions

By Train:
New Brunswick is on the Northeast Corridor railroad line between New York and Philadelphia for Amtrak and NJ Transit Service. If you are traveling by Amtrak, you will have to change to NJ Transit to New Brunswick at Philadelphia, Trenton or Metropark, NJ. Outside the New Brunswick railroad station, cross Easton Avenue and walk up the street along the right side of the railroad overpass (Little Albany St.). Robert Wood Johnson Hospital will be on your left. Enter through the automatic doors just past the Parking Deck entrance, and take the elevator to the 3rd Floor.

By Car:
From GSP North - Exit 130 (to Route 1 South). Go about nine miles, cross the Morris Goodkind Bridge. Stay to the Right. Take Route 18 North and continue as below (*).

From GSP South - Exit 105 (to Route 18 North). Stay on Route 18 North for approximately a half-hour drive until you pass the New Jersey Turnpike entrance in East Brunswick (located by the Hilton) and continue as below (*).

From Route 287 North - Exit 10 (Route 527, New Brunswick) Follow Route 527 (Easton Avenue) for about six miles to the end. Make a right on French Street. Go to second stop light and make a left on Paterson Street. The parking garage is on the right after passing the CAB.

From Route 1 North - Route 1 North to New Brunswick area; follow signs to Route 18 North. (Bear right at Exxon Station; continue past Bennigan’s and Car Wash onto Route 18 North.) Continue as below (*).

From Route 1 South - Route 1 South to New Brunswick area; cross the Morris Goodkind Bridge. Stay to the Right. Take exit ramp to New Brunswick Route 18 North. Follow signs for Route 18 North and continue as below (*).
From the New Jersey Turnpike North or South - Exit 9 (New Brunswick); keep right after toll to Route 18 North.

*Follow Route 18 North into New Brunswick. Travel on Route 18 about 2 miles to the exit ramp marked “Route 27 South, Princeton.” Proceed under the overpass. You will be on Albany Street (Route 27). Proceed 4 lights on Albany Street; go under the railroad overpass. This now becomes French Street. At the first traffic light after the overpass, turn left onto Joyce Kilmer Avenue. Go under the railroad overpass, proceed to the next traffic light (Paterson Street) and turn right. The entrance to the Paterson Street parking garage (hourly rates) will be ½ block up on the left.

Upon exiting the parking deck, cross Paterson Street and enter through the main entrance to the Clinical Academic Building (CAB). Stay to the left at the main entrance and walk to the end of the corridor to the elevators (next to the restrooms). Take the elevator to the 3rd floor, and walk across the French Street glass skywalk (you will now be on the 1st floor of the hospital). Follow the hallway into the hospital courtyard, and bear left until you reach an information desk and elevators. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Upon exiting these elevators, follow the hallway about halfway down to the administration area, whereupon you will be greeted and directed to the Research Coordinator with whom you are scheduled to meet.
