Electronic SubmissionMany sponsors are now requiring that proposals be prepared and submitted in an electronic format. The manner in which this is acomplished varies between sponsors. Some sponsors provide their own home-grown, web-based proposal preparation software (Susan G. Komen) while others (American Heart Association) use a third party to provide the software (Proposal Central). The Federal Government has now had for sometime the Grants.gov portal through which to submit applications. The Research Office requests that all applications for electronic submission be delivered to the office for review and submission five (5) business days prior to the published deadline. These applications should be sent complete with signed copies of all required internal paperwork. The main Federal portals are listed below as all of the different systems in use are too numerous to list.
