The Office of Research Administration assists faculty and staff in the development and submission of proposals to external sponsors, and ensuring compliance with both agency and University policies.

Overview of ORA

• Encourage the expansion of investigator initiated research grant applications by UMDNJ-RWJMS at Camden faculty.
• Provide information regarding funding opportunities.
  
• Facilitate the grant application process providing guidance with regard to forms, deadlines, budgets, contents, etc.
• Oversee the processing and submission of UMDNJ-RWJMS at Camden grant applications.
• All UMDNJ-RWJMS at Camden faculty applying for grant funding in the name of UMDNJ or RWJMS at Camden are required to have the applications processed and submitted through the UMDNJ-RWJMS at Camden Office of Research Administration.
• All signatures must be obtained from UMDNJ officials.
• Ensure that applications comply with all UMDNJ regulations and policies as appropriate.
• Process all biohazard/safety committee applications and correspondence.
• Process all material transfer agreements (MTA) for experimental materials used in the Education and Research Building.
  
• Process permission forms to allow minors to work in the E&R Building.
